Hi cuties!! This post has been updated to reflect our current domestic U.S. travel fees for 2024!
One of our frequently asked questions is on travel and any fees associated within my packages and how and when they are due. Kenny and I believe that the foundation to any long lasting relationship is good communication! That’s why we will always be very transparent with you about ALL and ANY costs that will be due to you and when. 🙂
Let’s get right down to it! When booking us for your destination elopement or wedding day, there will be travel costs. Whether that is mileage (current standard rate is $.67/mile), car rental, lodging, flights or a combo of these we give you the option of how you would like to pay them!
The following are our options for travel within the domestic U.S. . If you are interested in saying I do abroad (outside the contiguous U.S) , be sure to let us know!
Option #1 – The Set It and Forget It
This travel cost option is a set flat rate of $1800.00 and includes the car, flights, and lodging for your 2 photo/video professionals. This option will be added onto your wedding package invoice and listed in your contract. You will be able to have all costs due to us paid in full 30 days before your wedding day and you will not have to worry about it ever again! No further payments due after your wedding day.
Option #2 – The Itemized
We can also itemize your travel costs for you! These costs will be the car rental, flights and lodging for your 2 photo/video professionals. We will be happy to look at the current rates for all of these to provide you with an estimate so you are able to have an idea of what the costs will be upon later invoicing. Immediately after your wedding date and all travel has been completed, you will receive an invoice with all of the itemized travel costs. It may be more or less than your initial estimate, and will be due no later than 2 weeks after your wedding date. No photos and/or videos will be released until the invoice has been paid.
We are happy to do either of these options for you!
I do book all our own flights, car rentals and lodging. This is to make things simpler for you and to also ensure that all travel information is entered correctly and accessible to me. We don’t want anything to keep us from reaching you and capturing your wedding day/weekend adventures!
